As early as 1911, Oschatz Global developed the first water pipe boiler and put it on the market. In 1993, the first LaMont boiler was introduced to the Chinese market. In 1962, the cooling stack downstream of the first steelmaking converter was successfully commissioned. In 1996, Oschatz Global entered the Chinese market and established the plant in 2005. Since 1960, Oschatz Global has designed and built hundreds of sets of large and medium-sized cooling stacks for steel enterprises around the world, including the world’s largest 450 tons converter cooling stack, and the market share of converter cooling stacks over 200 tons made by Oschatz Global is over 80% among users at home and abroad. The service life of cooling stack and deflection bend is more than 30 years, and some can reach 50 years.
To ease the burden on the environment and make use of the thermal energy in waste gases, Oschatz Global has developed systems for cooling the hot, heavily dust-laden, carbon-containing waste gases from iron and steel production plants. Oschatz Global designs produces, and installs complete converter waste gas cooling systems for oxygen steel works for international steel producers. These systems, also called cooling stacks, convert the generated process heat into steam that can be used for industrial purposes.
Oschatz Global also manufactures waste heat boilers for use in sintering machines, coking plants, and coke dry quenching plants.
